LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Michigan labor unions are launching the Michigan Climate Jobs Coalition to promote a worker-led clean energy future.
The coalition is dedicated to creating an affordable, sustainable energy economy while providing good-paying union jobs. Its mission is to make Michigan a leader in clean energy generation, build strong communities, and ensure children have safe, healthy spaces to learn and thrive.
The launch event is set for 12:30 p.m. News 10 will livestream the event, which can be watched in the player above and on the WILX app.
