The 2026 Winter Olympics has seen some major Norway stars make their rounds on social media, including the bronze medalist who went viral for revealing he cheated on his girlfriend.
However, Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo has taken that internet fame to another level after showing off his insane speed in the cross-country skiing event.
Klaebo posted a sub-six-minute mile pace during the uphill climb in Milan and it has the entire Winter Olympics community absolutely stunned by his success.

In two previous Olympics performances, Klaebo has already captured seven gold medals, a silver and bronze medal. Meanwhile, the Oslo-native is expected to win plenty more at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
In 2025, the Norwegian secured a clean sweep of six gold medals at the World Championships. That included golds in the individual, skiathlon, sprint and relay events.

Klaebo has joined an exclusive group of Winter Olympics athletes with seven or more medals. Ironically, all of them are from Norway; Ole Einar Bjørndalen, Bjørn Dæhlie, and Marit Bjørgen with eight each.
