Whenever this happened when I was a kid, we would have so much fun building boats out of debris and racing them.
One time we built a mini dam to try to force the water flow to cross the road. We kept having to extend it out into the road and eventually someones parent came out and pointed out the various obvious hazard we were building for traffic.
Thankfully it was a cul de sac street so, not a major issue. Damn it was fun though.

Is this related to the water outage earlier? When the pressure came out it was like an explosion. I thought the toilet was going to blow up and not for all the comical reasons.
