Mucunski from Paris: Active support for wine export to European and world markets

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timco Mucunski, together with the Minister of Culture, Zoran Lutkov and the Mayor of Ohrid, Kiril Pecakov, and in the presence of the Ambassador of North Macedonia to France, Igor Nikollovski and representatives of wine cellars, yesterday in Paris delivered a speech at an event dedicated to the promotion of North Macedonian wine on the international stage.

As announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the event was organized within the framework of the working visit to Paris, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, as part of activities to advance economic diplomacy and increase the country’s export opportunities.

“Before a large number of guests from the diplomatic corps, cultural and public life, politics and the French wine industry, the quality, tradition and competitiveness of Macedonian wines in European and world markets were highlighted,” the announcement says.

Minister Mucunski emphasized that Macedonian wine represents one of the country’s most popular export products and an important segment of economic cooperation, emphasizing that the Ministry will continue with active and strategic support for domestic producers, with the aim of further strengthening their international position and opening new trade opportunities.
