In just one letter Gordon Brown has done more than anyone in govt or police to describe what has happened and what must be done. Good on him. Now we have to continue holding people’s feet to the fire. The Met Commissioner in particular.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Brown when he was in charge, but looking back, I sort of miss him; although that might be because of how god awful everyone else has been since Brown, so he’d look better by association.
