The total number of tourists in North Macedonia last year was 6.0% higher than in 2024, reports Telegraph Macedonia.
There was a 10.3% increase in foreign tourists and a 2.2% decrease in domestic tourists, the State Statistics Office announced.
However, the number of overnight stays increased by 0.8%. Domestic tourists decreased by 4.1%, while foreign tourists increased by 6.4%.
In December 2025, of the total number of tourists, 36.7% were domestic and 63.3% were foreign tourists.
The number of overnight stays in December 2025 was 112,001, of which 42.4% were domestic tourists and 57.6% were foreign tourists./Telegraph/
