It’s disgusting how that piece of sh*t is allowed to fly to other countries without being arrested on the spot.

  2. It’s a bummer people can’t set their anger and prejudice over Palestine aside for a time while their fellow countrymen grieve for with their community after Bondi.

It’s nice to see at least that the government is effectively ignoring them.

To be honest, after Sydney I expected worse. Like suss Yellow and Green flags or off chants. I’d disagree with some of the messaging but that’s whatever. Good to see a peaceful protest after the violence (from the po-po) in Sydney.

Great turn out. So much solidarity. And I know the z**nists and racists hate the fact that these protests have such incredible diversity.

  5. Why is Palestine the only issue these people protest about? Why aren’t they protesting against the Iranian government in these kinds of numbers? Or what’s happening in the Congo? Or what about the Uyghurs?

Seems driven by self-hate and lack of identity more than anything. It’s likely they also hate Australia because of colonialism yet still reap the rewards of the Westminster system of government, broader institutions and prosperity this great country offers them.

  6. Also slightly off topic but please don’t use trams or any PTV as an acceptable place to start political debates, today was the third time I’ve had someone confront me on a tram for wearing a keffiyeh.

  7. To be honest, I am relieved that the protest didn’t end up getting ugly like it did in Sydney. Was fearing the worst.
