I hope that next time Orbán’s party leaks a sex tape, it will also show a large flatscreen TV in the background that shows what their actual political platform is, along with their program for the next four years and who the key members of the government will be. I mean, beyond “Trump good, Brusseles bad”. Because so far, Fidesz hasn’t shown us any. Unlike Tisza.

It’s worth noting that Magyar explicitly mentioned in his video, that drugs were present at the party where this act happened, although he didn’t take any. We still haven’t seen the video, my concern is the point will not be the sex (consensual sex between a man and a woman, how could that be scandalous?), but that he’s shown taking drugs. I personally wouldn’t give a damn if he snorts coke now and then – let’s be real, which politician doesn’t? – but Fidesz have ramped up their anti-drug messaging and policies in the past year, conditioning the voters that drugs are worse than the devil. If they did that with this video in their vault, that’s a real evil masterplan.

Regardless, if there is drug usage on the eventual video, Magyar will claim it’s AI anyway and everybody can choose what to believe, as it is – unfortunately – the norm in modern politics. Announcing them beforehand and contextualizing them has been Magyar’s smart tactic against the various smear campaigns and that’s what he did today as well wisely – hopefully this means it won’t result in a negative effect on his campaign. There’s 2 months left, he seems to be winning, but a lot of disgusting things can still happen in 60 days….

Damn that’s crazy, a lot to digest here but a few questions I didn’t see really answered and some background if anybody has any would be appreciated.

This is Magyar’s “gf” as it was someone he was having an affair with? While not illegal is damaging and does hurt his character, I don’t like cheaters and most don’t either. That being said he’s still clearly better than the opposition and hope he still wins. Also where is this woman? Why hasn’t she been interviewed or at least questioned? Has she totally disappeared? Just showing that could show she was indeed an agent and further proof even if circumstantial that the government is involved. Also don’t like the idea of a head of state that could be lured and seduced by a foreign agent or just a woman with an agenda even. Puts him in compromising situations and could even be used to kidnap or murder him. Further questions about his judgement which just isn’t a good look. Overall crazy situation that mostly happens in books and tv shows so pretty insane and would love to read more about it if others have info. Also get the woman and get her to admit her part and give away co conspirators, that could also help the situation by turning pressure on the government.
