For the first time late this week on Friday morning (Feb. 13), we’ll see multiple Los Angeles Kings players, wingers Joel Armia (Finland) and Adrian Kempe (Sweden), faceoff against each other on the ice in the 2026 Winter Olympics before this upcoming weekend.
Kempe and Team Sweden battle Armia and Team Finland in the first of four games on Day 3 of the 2026 Winter Olympics on the ice for men’s ice hockey for the Kings players late this week. Kempe and Sweden had a convincing 5-2 win on the scoreboard on Wednesday morning.
Armia and Finland, however, are looking for a bounce-back win on the scoreboard tomorrow morning vs. Kempe and Sweden in Group B after a multi-goal 4-1 loss to Slovakia in an upset defeat on Wednesday morning.
