Assuming this is the Abbey Museum? Great place! Worth the drive, especially if you’ve got kids. They do an educational day where the kids learn archery, do archaeology, learn about weapons, and make their own pieces. The little museum is top-notch too, with a surprising amount of artefacts. Such a shame about the robbery.
I mean, it’s Caboolture…. You’re kinda asking for it.

I just scrolled past that image without reading, assuming it was the social media team making some sort of joke.
That’s really horrible for the Abbey Museum, it’s a small collection but it’s got some amazing stuff that has been built up over quite a few years. And not being government owned it doesn’t always have the profile of the Queensland Museums.
Have they checked gumtree or fb marketplace?
