237 construction permits have been issued in North Macedonia for buildings worth 64 million euros

In North Macedonia, 237 building permits were issued in December for the construction of buildings worth 3,988,378,000 denars. This value decreased by 19.5 percent, reports Portalb.mk.
“During December 2025, 237 building permits were issued, which is a decrease of 17.4% compared to the same month of the previous year,” reports the State Statistical Office, emphasizing that “during this period, the construction of 411 apartments is planned, with a total area of 38,300 square meters.”
Most building permits (59.1%) were for high-rise buildings, while the rest were for reconstruction (23.2%) and low-rise construction (17.7%). The agency explained that most permits were issued for the Skopje and Polog regions.
