EPCOT has a new treat in the shape of a l’ourson or teddy bear in French. Read on to find out if the marshmallow treat is worth the line at Les Halles.
The dark chocolate covered vanilla marshmallow bear on a stick is available at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion at EPCOT.
The dark chocolate is creamy and rich, but what is most impressive is that as you eat the chocolate shell stays on the marshmallow. Traditionally we steer away from melty treats, but this holds together fairly well in the heat. The vanilla marshmallow isn’t overly sweet either and has just enough of the traditional American marshmallow to balance it. However, this is certainly not your average marshmallow.
It is delectable, and we would considered it a high end version of a marshmallow pop. Definitely for a more refined pallet. Those that do not like dark chocolate will probably not enjoy this treat.
