Almost: Collaroy (between Narra and Dee Why)- but then Curl Curl doesn’t work. Short answer is no.

Don’t think so. Can’t be south of Curl Curl but north of Dee Why.

Closest would be kind of Beacon Hill.

Long reef, apart from the curly reference. Doesn’t make sense otherwise.

Sure it could be on any trail or road that has multiple paths. You see signs like this to indicate what lies at the end of a trail/road. The trail could branch off to all those suburbs regardless of initial direction. You know like how road signs work… Everyone here thinking signs point to the destination as the crow flies but that is hardly ever the case

Get rid of the Dee Why sign and this probably makes sense for Freshie or Queenscliff

Get rid of the Curl Curl sign and Collaroy would be your answer. (Long Reef is a part of Collaroy.)

Slightly less wrong if you were say standing in curl curl/freshwater facing north or something but nah the curl curl bit fucks it

I was thinking if you crossed from long reef to Dee why beach – then gently started to rotate as you read the sign?
