Went to Brookside Markets this morning but I had to lay all my fruit and veg out on the table to dry off because it was so rainy. I thought some here might be interested in what you get for your money there. $61.70, will last our family of four most of the week with only a small top up towards the end of the week. Yes we eat a lot of cucumbers.

Imho stone fruit is cheaper at Coles but veggies esp capsicum are cheaper.

Nice haul. I love grocery shopping. I shop at Lawntons. This was $96
The brookside markets are pretty rubbish. Carseldine markets or tbones are probably the best we have found.
Markets are my goto for fresh produce
Are you saying that will last your family of 4 a week without supplementing any other fruit/veg? Because that’s only one piece of fruit each every second day…
Man, I remember when markets used to be cheaper
I knew someone that used to shop at Cole’s and woolies and then sell it there at a mark up.
They also sold caged eggs as free range from their “farm”.
