I would have expected Chile or Argentina to have at least a couple given their southern latitudes and extensive high mountains. They’re both reasonably well developed with mostly stable governments so there should be enough money and administration available to field Olympic teams. The fact they have *zero* suggests they seldom/never participate in the winter games.

  2. Canada with 2/3 the medals of the US despite only having a bit more than 1/10 the population. 🇨🇦💪

This is some bullshit! Where is the rest of the world?!! 🤨
You know tiny 5 million people Norway beat your ass!
(***405 medals*** *and that doesn’t even include 2026)*

  4. Actually legitimately surprised Mexico doesn’t have any medals from a dual-national citizen living in America. Figured at least one would have medaled in something like ski/snowboard cross or slalom, even if they’re otherwise “cultured out” of a skating discipline.

  5. I thought the Jamaicans won bobsledding at least once? Pretty sure I watched a documentary about it back in the 2000s.

  6. imho the Olympics should just drop the theatrics and auction off the medals to the first world countries at this point

    just cut the middle man

  7. For Canada having 10% of the population of the US, they are punching way above their weight. That is very impressive. Go Canada!
