Unless there’s a footpath on the other side of the road, they need a safe detour on the road surrounded by barriers and with signs directing you, so I’d contact council if thats the case.

Use snap send solve to report. I’m always walking and there are plenty of sites near me where footpath is blocked but they provide a safe route around it

Happened near us not so long ago as well. Council ended up shutting down the entire site for weeks.

Doesn’t seem to be much traffic. Go around. Most suburbs dont even have footpaths except around commercial zones. Construction is disruptive but NIMBYs are just widely problematic and destructive.
