  1. My crewmate Suni Williams on her 9th and final spacewalk as a NASA astronaut. We were aboard the ISS together for Expedition 72, and I photographed what would become her final spacewalk before retiring from NASA. She makes it look easy! best wishes to Suni on the next adventure!

  2. I don’t know how y’all can do it. One look at the void of space will have me in shambles.

  3. It’s interesting to see how many dead pixels that camera sensor has.

Curious how long it’s been up there now.

I imagine you wouldn’t want any distractions but I’m still curious. Can those suits play music?

  5. I don’t think I could do the work astronauts are supposed to do there, I would look at the earth the whole time

  6. The entire image has a fair amount of prominent noise. Is that cosmic radiation causing the noise similar to what you would see if you pointed a camera at a radioactive object or are those dead pixels?

  7. I’m not sure what I’d do with myself after that personally. Knowing it might be your last time *ever* doing something so amazing. There’s peaking and then there’s this.

Outside of some unique situations such as the birth of a child, your wedding or a friend’s, pretty much everything we do can be done again. But a space walk?
