The auditor, the military counterpart to the public prosecutor, demanded an unconditional prison sentence of six months for the Swiss citizen.
Service in another army is prohibited for Swiss citizens.
The accused did not attend the trial and is said to live in Israel.

    So what’s the point here? If a national of country X wants to fight in a war, I don’t see the sensationalism. By the way, to everyone calling them murderers and such, I hope you use the same terms for the dictatorships both in the Middle East and in South America

Didn’t think I’d see so many zionists in the comments and it’s disgusting but for clarification I believe military service is mandatory for Israeli passport holders and I met people who were forced to fight even if it went against their values so instead of blaming these people we could blame the ones who think it’s the right thing to do, and the governments closing their eyes on the genocide.

    You can have whatever view of the conflict you want. But the fact is: under Article 94 of the Swiss Military Penal Code, Swiss citizen, even if they also hold another nationality, are not allowed to serve in a foreign military. Violations can lead to criminal penalties.
