I posted last year about myself and my wife’s trip to krakow. Last year we visited Auschwitz and the Wieliczka salt mines and a truly amazing unforgettable time. We literally booked again for the same time a year later as soon as we got home.

I knew Poland in general was having a very good / bad winter with cold weather and snow depending how you want to look at it. And was hoping to see the magic a snow covered krakow would bring. I wasn’t disappointed. This year we booked bialka tatrzanska to do the snowmobiles and thermal springs. This holiday was truly one of the best, if not the best experiences we have ever had. I guess a third time wouldn’t hurt. Cheers Poland.

  1. Poland don’t have very good/bad winter weather, at least not compared to the other countries in the region and in the US. Don’t know from where you are but look at the weather forcast for the US and Europe next time you want to visit and you’ll see it’s nothing better/worse than in a good chunk of Europe, some places in Asia and US. I think in most of the US there was/is much worse winter than it is in Poland. I can agree that this year was a bit different, much more colder, snowier than it have been for the last 15 years. Same with other countries in the west. But still, winter here isin’t something out of the ordinary.
