Air Force veteran and Associate Project Manager Rosa led the recent refresh work of the Norway pavilion in EPCOT.
Disney’s Facility Asset Management

Rosa served for 24 years in the United States Air Force. She joined Disney as part of their “Heroes Work Here” veteran hiring initiative. She found Disney’s Facility Asset Management department the perfect fit for the leadership, discipline, and commitment to excellence she has built through military service.
“In the military, everything you do trains you to lead and care for your team,” Rosa said. “FAM’s core values of ownership, value, and trust echo the military’s core values of service, excellence, and integrity. It was a perfect fit.”
Nearly 350 cast members work in Facility Asset Management across Walt Disney World. Rosa said, “Watching kids and adults enjoy the experience out there… that’s why we do what we do.”
Rosa told Disney Parks Blog that what makes her work with Facility Asset Management special is that “Every detail matters.” These details include rockwork around the waterfall, paint touches, rust drips, and aged finishes. Rosa brought in artisans and specialists who used more than 200 colors and stains to create the layered, lived-in look of the Norway pavilion.
The Norway pavilion is designed with architectural shifts representing a journey across the country: moving from the feel of urban Oslo, traveling through Bergen and Haakon’s Hall, climbing into Setesdal mountain hamlets near the Stave Church, and ending in the quiet countryside of log buildings and sod roofs.
The Norway pavilion updates include a brand-new snack kiosk. This was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and modeled after traditional Norwegian stabbur cabins.
Frozen Ever After recently reopened with new Audio-Animatronics faces, refreshed lighting, and other technical updates. Watch our video below.
