A cause of death has been determined for “Pulp Fiction” actor Peter Greene, who died back in December.
Greene, 60, was found dead in his New York City Apartment on Dec. 12 after a neighbor called the police because music had been coming from Greene’s apartment all night long.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in New York City determined that died after accidentally shooting himself in the armpit, TMZ reported.
“Cause of death: Gunshot wound of left axilla with injury of brachial artery,” the report said, meaning that the bullet hit an artery.
Greene was best known for playing the villainous Zed in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film “Pulp Fiction.” He also played Dorian in “The Mask” and had supporting roles in “The Usual Suspects,” “Training Day” and “The Bounty Hunter.
He also played the lead role in the 1993 film “Clean, Shaven,” in which he played a schizophrenic man trying to get his daughter back from her adopted mother.
