In January 2026, the value of paid services provided to the population in Azerbaijan increased by 7.6% in real terms compared to the corresponding period of 2025, reaching 1 billion 264.1 million manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting month, legal entities provided services worth 954.7 million manats to the population, accounting for 75.5% of the total value of services.
According to the information, last month an average resident of the country used various paid services worth 123.2 manats, which is 14.4 manats more in nominal terms compared to the same period in 2025.
It was noted that in 2025, compared to 2024, the value of paid services provided to the population increased by 10.3% in Baku, 9.9% in the Absheron-Khizi economic region, 8.4% in the Ganja-Dashkasan economic region, 8.1% in the Shirvan-Salyan economic region, 8% in the Sheki-Zagatala economic region, 7.5% in the Gazakh-Tovuz economic region, 7.2% in the Guba-Khachmaz economic region, 5.8% in the Mountainous Shirvan economic region, 5.5% in the Central Aran economic region, 5.3% in the Lankaran-Astara economic region, 3.1% in the Karabakh economic region, 1.8% in the Mil-Mugan economic region, and 0.3% in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
