  1. I haven’t been following this much, if at all. Saw the same article and came here. As somebody that hasn’t really followed the progress of Artermis II outside of a few significant announcements, it feels really sudden to make this announcement, so I’m going to ask some stupid questions.

Can anybody explain the rationale behind the announcement and launch date being like 2 weeks? Is it due to expected weather following the recent fuel test, is this a typical time gap, or had this been planned out for a while? As someone that doesn’t know the typical scheduling of tests before final launch, I would have thought there’d be a much longer gap.

We are going back to the Moon. Lets get back to deep space and stay there now. Its our future.

We leave on a cruise to the Bahamas out of the cape March 6th. I hope we will be able to see this!

  4. Let’s go! Finally we won’t have any more stupidity on we’ve never got to the moon.

Hopefully it’s the first real push for settlements on the moon with this first launch.

~~Uh? It can still be postponed due to some stuff after wet rehearsal. This is as breaking news as “tomorrow it might rain” is breaking news~~

Edit: Got it, the wet rehearsal was successful, alright, it is breaking news! 🎆

  6. Probably a dumb question, but would I be able to see the spaceship in the Gulf of Mexico? Or closer to central america?

  7. What a waste of money. If prefer to see data gathering craft explore a few moons of Saturn and Jupiter.

  8. Acronyms, initialisms, abbreviations, contractions, and other phrases which expand to something larger, that I’ve seen in this thread:
