I’ve been to Nesvizh and visited the Nesvizh Castle several times. My first visit was 1993. My grandparents were born in the village of Ogorodniki which is now inside the city of Nesvizh. My grandfather immigrated to the USA in 1912, and my grandmother followed in 1914. My ancestors worked for the Radziwill family.

“The Radziwill of Nesvizh placed on the gate of his capital an inscription stating that it had been erected during his reign – *Carolo Stanislao regnante* – and without joking he used to say: “The king may be king in Warsaw, and I am in Nesvizh.” It is a residence of genuinely royal proportions.
