Legislation supported by CAM advanced in two states, Missouri and Wisconsin, this week, marking key progress in a nationwide effort to pass and enact policy remedies addressing rising antisemitism across America.

The Missouri House of Representatives voted on Monday in favor of HB 2061, a measure to integrate the IHRA antisemitism definition into student, faculty, and employee codes of conduct, and facilitate enforcement of Title VI.

Two days later, the Wisconsin State Assembly approved AB 446, a proposal to adopt the IHRA definition into state statute and use it to evaluate discriminatory intent and enhanced criminal penalties.
