LUKE LITTLER insists experience is already key to his game after battling into the quarter-finals of the Poland Masters.

‘The Nuke’ averaged a superb 100.07 and nailed six of his 11 doubles to defeat Ross Smith 6-2 in Krakow.

World No.1 Littler came back from 2-0 to avoid an early upset at the Euro Tour event.

Littler revealed early-session starts can be a challenge, even for one of the sport’s coolest young stars.

He said: “It wasn’t the best of matches. Sunday afternoon, your first game is always the most difficult — waking up early and coming on.

“I finished the tough test and it is out of the way. We move on to tonight.

“It’s just experience. Most of the time you are leading. Very rarely are you going to be 2-0 down.

“It goes on experience and past matches. You saw at the Matchplay I was down plenty of times and that helped me.

“There is no need to worry and I always find it.”

The teenage sensation is bidding to make history as the first-ever champion of the inaugural event at the Krakow Expo.

Remarkably, Littler is already chasing his NINTH ProTour title at just 19 years of age.
