On February 21, 2026, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia awarded the Order of Saint Prince Lazar to Alexey Evgenievich Likhachev, Director General of the State Corporation Rosatom and Director of the Foundation for the support of christian culture and heritage, during a ceremonial reception held at the Saint Sava Hall in Vračar.

At the proposal of the Patriarch, the Holy Synod of Bishops bestowed upon A.E. Likhachev this high ecclesiastical distinction as a sign of recognition and gratitude for his numerous benefactions and his proven love for the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as for his invaluable contribution to the promotion and preservation of Christian culture and Orthodox heritage throughout the world.

Those present at the award ceremony included Nadezhda V. Likhacheva; Yegor Skopenko, Executive Director of the Foundation for the support of christian culture and heritage; Maria Deurić, Director of Rosatom’s Representative Office in Serbia; Bishop Stefan of Remesiana, Head of the Representation of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow; Archimandrite Danilo, Director of the Patriarchal Administrative Office; Archpriest Đorđe Stojisavljević, Head of the Office of the Patriarch of Serbia; and Miljan Nikitović, official of the Serbian Patriarchate.
