I was listening to the Rest is Politics, and one plausible theory for some of these donations is that they’re by the super rich hedging their bets. It’s insurance for the worst case scenario.
Trump wins? They just donated 100k and get to call him for a favour or get preferential treatment or an exemption when he does something damaging. Trump loses? Biden’s not a lunatic so they’ll do fine. Sure they lost out on 100k, but that’s not such a big deal for them.
No no no, why is the madness coming here? Keep Trump, Reform, RN, AfD and all this far right rubbish out of our poor country.
Plus I thought with his criminal conviction he was banned from travelling to 38 countries including most European countries. We should ban anything like this too.

How does this work? Maybe I’m being naive but aren’t there laws about accepting foreign political donations?
That’s great, hopefully it can be seized and used to pay off his outstanding legal debts in this country, that he hasn’t paid.
Does this mean, given that a court has determined that Trump is a rapist, that it is inarguably true that Farage is raising money for a rapist and this fact could be legally printed on leaflets and posters in the constituency he is standing in?
