
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, following a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart Robertas Kaunas, said Lithuania is ready to increase its contributions to the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) program, and Ukraine, in turn, will share its experience in combating strike drones.
“Productive meeting with Defense Minister Robertas Kaunas. Focus: drone, air defence, EW cooperation. Grateful for Lithuania’s 0.25% GDP support & PURL contributions. Ukraine is also ready to share its ‘Shahed-fighting’ expertise to boost partner’s defense,” Fedorov said on the X social network.
Kaunas also reported on the strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense through the PURL program.
“Lithuania, in supporting Ukraine’s air defence, will allocate an additional contribution to the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) initiative, under which US-manufactured weaponry is supplied to Ukraine,” the minister said on the X social platform.
