If I was the AFP I’d just simply look at the Facebook comments about this incident. Because the comments are slightly terrifying.

Only advice I can give folks is I’ve witnessed Facebook try and incite hatred towards one side vs the other. The algorithm is utterly fucked.

I haven’t checked my Facebook feed yet but I can guarantee my mum will have posted a heap of posts disappointed that he hasn’t been executed, and that Roger Cook needs to be next, and that this is what you get when you let Muslims in the country and trans people rape kids at school. I’m not joking.

There is no place for political extremism or violence in this country, and it is so disheartening to know that many in our country have fallen victim to the same trends happening the world over.
