Fuel prices saw small increases during February, reversing some of the reductions seen at the start of the year, new figures show today.

EV charging costs remain unchanged, the latest fuel price survey from AA Ireland reveals, providing some certainty for electric vehicle owners.

The survey shows that diesel prices rose to €1.72 a litre on average in February, up from €1.69 in January, while petrol prices were up to €1.73 per litre on average from €1.70 in January.

AA Ireland said that fuel prices continue to fluctuate in response to movements in global oil markets and currency exchange rates. Pump prices can also vary significantly depending on location and retailer, it added.
