      Wow, I knew about Poland taking lots of Ukrainian refugees, I had no idea Germany had taken in the most.

      It’s gonna change after the peace is struck. Weak peace means more people will emigrate.

      Is France not taking refugees or are they actively avoiding it? Looks like a closer option than Spain and UK and yet insignificant in comparison…

      Greece doesn’t have many surprisingly. Even though we have similar culture to an extent. The crisis really murdered our image abroad. We used to be seen as Western European. Imo we should take more Ukrainians

      Germany and Poland doing Gods work, but all of the EU has done a fairly decent job. I have to say, I’m proud of Romania too, consistent support even tho we are bombarded by Russian propaganda and a lot of the population has become unbearable brainwashed bastards. We’ll have to fight the idiots at the polling stations for at least a decade from now on

      Either in Poland there are many more undocumented/still being processed/visiting etc. Ukrainians, or I live in an area with a lot of Ukrianians.

      The Ukrainians I know also integrated well, learned German quickly and are an overall enrichment to this country.

      The number for Poland only counts refugees who came after 2022. But even before 2022 about 1m Ukrainians were already living in Poland, including people who had fled the 2014 war.

      I’m honestly most surprised by the Swedish number. The government has welcomed Ukrainian refugees yet there’s a lot fewer than in Finland and Norway.

      Not accurate, in Norway its 100k. But these lists in this sub are often inaccurate so not really surprised.

      Would be intresting to see the % of the population to refugees. This kinda tells me nothing.

      Over one million in Poland was already after the invasion in 2014, so the data is likely wrong or there’s not enough context.

      Ukrainians have culturally assimilated so well in EU. Can’t be said same for some other ‘refugees’.

      Does those numbers include Ukrainians who migrated without refugee status or before full scale invasion?

      Ik it says Europe but Canada has more then alot of these countries, 300K. Wild when you consider their lowish county pop and culture difference

      Russias number would be very important in a map like this , why is it not mentioned ? I personally know people who’s relative moved to Russia from Ukraine because they were culturally Russian and didn’t want to live in a warzone ,

      Why GER always gotta be the ones in first place with these fucking things, taking in the most refugees, giving the most aid, blargh
