Armenia’s Domain Name Industry

Armenia’s domain name industry is expanding not just in registrations but in technological innovation. Armenia’s country-code top-level domain (ccTLD), .AM, an overlooked and vital asset. It benefits from broad creative and commercial use globally.  Locally the Armenian language internationalized domain names like .հայ (IDN) supports native script usage online. Both .AM and .հայ are administered by ISOC.am (Internet Society NGO).

Web3 has also been introduced into Armenia’s domain industry thanks to Armeniadomains.com . The .AM domains can now be mirrored or also known as being put onchain through GlobalR.com, the official provider of mirrored .am domains. Powered by WebUnited.com, this innovation creates a seamless bridge between traditional DNS and decentralized blockchain identity.
