Apart from what we already know about Dutton’s fuck ups, especially re: his captain’s decision on tax cuts, chances are that the broad conclusions are the same as the 2022 review – which the party ignored. You can’t win an election in Australia with a platform built on right-wing culture wars.

There’s no doubt that the election review would be nothing but embarrassing for the libs and their new leaders. Aside from the personal mistakes by Taylor and Hume, one can only assume that the review would basically be a refutation of the rightward shift they’ve taken – it would say no nuclear, functional environment and climate change policy, the same integrity issues, the coalitions dwindling support with women and that harsh immigration rhetoric is damaging in multicultural Australia.
Basically it probably recommended for them to be doing the exact opposite of their current plan, and with a new and less tainted leadership team at the helm.
