Fresh off Olympic glory, the hockey star brings Team USA momentum to Studio 8H alongside first-time host Connor Storrie.
Olympic gold medalist hockey star Quinn Hughes is set to make a cameo appearance on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, during an episode hosted by Heated Rivalry actor Connor Storrie, says Deadline.
The appearance comes as Hughes continues a round of NBC late-night appearances following the Milano Cortina Winter Games. He is also scheduled to appear on Monday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Both programs air on NBC, recently broadcasting the Winter Olympics.
Hughes’ younger brother, Jack Hughes, who scored the game-winning goal against Canada in the gold medal matchup, along with fellow Olympic gold medalist Hilary Knight, will join Fallon on Monday and could also appear on SNL depending on team schedules.
Saturday’s episode marks Storrie’s first time hosting Saturday Night Live, with Mumford & Sons set as the musical guest.
SNL returns at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC after a three-week hiatus during Olympic coverage from Milan. The long-running sketch series is produced in association with creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video.
