The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, in his speech at a joint press conference with President Gordana Siljanoska Davkova, said that the two countries are an example of regional cooperation and said that both sides are determined to deepen this cooperation, reports Telegrafi Macedonia.
“During our conversation, we appreciated the very good, friendly and intensive relations we have as neighboring countries and the shared commitment to advance bilateral cooperation, regional cooperation and beyond within international organizations.”
During the conversation, we emphasized that the relations between our countries are an example of regional cooperation and that both our countries remain determined to further deepen these levels of cooperation,” said Begaj.
Begaj said that Albanians living in the RMV are an important and state-forming factor, reports Telegrafi Makedonija.
“An important place is dedicated to the Albanian factor and the Albanians living in Macedonia. They are a state-forming people in this country, actively contributing to political stability in governance and Euro-Atlantic orientations. The implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement is not a technical issue, but a fundamental one that has to do with social cohesion, interethnic cooperation and institutional cooperation,” said the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
He wanted to sit at the same table with all parties from the Albanian bloc, but, as he says, they represent different political ideologies and as long as one part of the Albanian bloc is in power and the others are in opposition, we believe that the meetings should be separate.
“When it came to the Albanian dream of Euro-Atlantic orientation, the Albanian factor was united and is united. More politics is being produced in the Balkans than is necessary and too often the Balkans have produced unnecessary noise. The future should be peaceful, calm and abundant. We should not focus on the past,” said Begaj. /Telegrafi/
