    The Pastafarian Prayer.

Our pasta, who art in a colander,

    draining be your noodles.

Thy noodle come, Thy sauce be yum,

    on top some grated Parmesan.

Give us this day, our garlic bread,

    …and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trample on our lawns.

And lead us not into vegetarianism,

but deliver us some pizza, for thine is the meatball

, the noodle, and the sauce,

    forever and ever.

    -R’amen.

Oh wow, rural Qld has already caught up to 2006. Please other commenters, do not disturb this habitat, Pastafarians are an endangered species

I have no respect for any one of faith- all religions are just so obviously delusional. I cannot respect the mental acumen of an adult that still believes in Santa or any god.

  4. Not sure why the One Nation voters aren’t getting onto this. We pasterfarians understand that climate change is very much due to man. There is clear evidence between the decline of pirates with the increase in the earths temperature.

  5. aaaaarrrrrrrhh. I’m from the tricorn wearing sect – these colander wearers have got it all wrong.

    >Shadikillah, 28, said he converted from Islam to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster in 2021…

Sure, I’m not going to say that one religion can do something but another can’t. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  7. Guy Albon did this in South Australia as a pisstake years ago. S.A registry were not impressed.

This is nothing new or clever.

  8. Good! This heretic must be stopped!

The only true religious garb of the Pastafarians is full pirate dress and we should not be giving those ignore the original teachings, and choose instead to wear the colander, any form of legitimacy.

  9. Is it a legit religion? Like, do they believe in a high power?

If so, I might volunteer to teach it at my kids public school as an alternative to whatever brand of Christianity takes up learning time now.

“After his Facebook post of his new licence “went viral”, Shadikillah said he was contacted by a government official last week telling him it was not legitimate religious headgear”

Weren’t there new laws just rushed through parliament to stop this kind of prejudice? Disgusting.

I heard about psychedelic churches in the US and this article makes me wonder – are religious rituals in which entheogen are used protected in Australia?

  12. All glory to the flying spaghetti monster, may his noodley appendages sustain us in our times of need
