The Kosovo Embassy in Riyadh has advised Kosovo citizens residing in Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman to exercise maximum caution due to increased tensions in the region.

According to the announcement, there is an increased risk of escalation of the situation, which could lead to travel disruptions and other unforeseen impacts.

The embassy has called on citizens to follow official announcements and advice from local authorities, to be informed through official media, and to avoid areas near security and military facilities.

The embassy has announced that it will continue to monitor the situation and will announce any new developments.

Meanwhile, the Kosovo Embassy in Qatar has also issued a similar announcement for citizens living and working there.

The Embassy in Doha has emphasized that it will continue to monitor the situation and will announce any new developments. For urgent cases, citizens can contact the emergency number: +974 5055 9453.

Kosovo Embassies in Israel and Abu Dhabi Appeal to Albanians for Caution

Kosovo’s Ambassador to Israel, Ines Demiri, has appealed to Kosovo citizens living in Israel to be cautious, following the US and Israeli attacks against Iran on Saturday. 

She has instructed citizens to follow official announcements and implement the safety instructions of local authorities. 

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, together with the Embassy of Kosovo in Israel, are closely monitoring current developments. We inform you that the Embassy of Kosovo in Israel is fully available to our citizens and remains in constant communication with the relevant local institutions. For any urgent case, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who are in Israel can contact the number: +972 586 340450,” its appeal states. 

The Kosovo Embassy in Abu Dhabi has also called for caution due to rising tensions in the region, emphasizing that there is an increased risk of escalation of the situation, which could lead to travel disruptions and other unforeseen impacts.

“The Embassy calls on citizens of the Republic of Kosovo living and working in the United Arab Emirates: • To be regularly informed through official sources and the media. • To follow the instructions of local authorities. • To avoid areas near security and military facilities.”
