GRATIOT COUNTY, Mich.— A man is dead after a pickup truck crashed into a Consumers Energy truck over the weekend.
On Sunday, March 1st, deputies arrived at South State Road and Johnson Road to find a Consumers Energy truck on top of a pickup truck.
The pickup truck, driven by a 67-year-old North Star man, had failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by the Consumers Energy truck.
The man was entrapped in the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Consumers Energy truck were uninjured.
