    Honestly, Carney’s middle power vision is an extremely interesting concept. Especially as we head towards a multipolar world.

    It looked for a moment like Starmer might finally show some spine. Alas, 24 hours later Sir Keir was back to Keiring.

    It’s very early days for this sort of thing. I’d expect more than a few false starts. Canada could be a good partner, but it’s a long way from where we are. OTOH, we do have some similar problems when it comes to distancing and disentangling ourselves from the US. 

  4. Having spent several years living in Canada, i have never understood why this kind of thing hasn’t been pushed before. We are both so similar as Nations, I’ve got a lot of time for our friendly chuckleheads
