President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 69 on March 2nd, approving a draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and the Togolese Republic on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for short-term trips for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports as a basis for negotiations, sb.by reports citing the Belarusian leader’s press service

In line with the intergovernmental agreement, citizens of Belarus and Togo who hold diplomatic, official and special passports are exempt from visa requirements for entry, transit and stay in the territory of the other party’s state for a period of no more than 30 days from the date of first entry during any period of 90 days within a calendar year.
The agreement marks another step in developing and strengthening friendly relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Togolese Republic.
Belarus’ Foreign Ministry is authorised to negotiate and sign the draft agreement.
