More than 180 Chinese companies and 14 associations participated in the forum. On the Belarusian side, 21 enterprises from across the country presented the potential of the processing industry, including sectors such as meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables, among others.
The business programme featured presentations, B2B meetings and expert discussions. During the two-day event, more than 130 meetings were held, covering topics like logistics, certification, marketing strategies, and product adaptation to suit the Chinese market.
The Made in Belarus forum in Beijing led to the signing of 15 commercial contracts valued at over $70m. Belarusian dairy products, meat specialties, confectionery and other high-value goods will be exported to China.
Additionally, both parties agreed to establish new production facilities and launch trial batches of products. This lays the foundation for stable export growth in the future. A key result was the first direct negotiations between several Belarusian companies and major Chinese retailers and distributors.
