I just want know more about and get feedback on how it tastes like before I open it. I tried to search on Google but couldn’t find an exact match. plus, no expiry date was indicated. I know honey doesn’t expire but they put it there for a reason. Thanks!

  1. Every edible has to have an expiry, or rather best before date, regardless of the fact it doesn’t expire as is the case with honey. As for your honey, it’s labelled as mixed, so basically the taste could be anything. Based on the lighter colour and it being from the coastal region (Primorska), it probably tastes like a mix of flower / herb honey

Slovenia is known for having some of the best honey in the world. We are very proud of our beekeeping tradition, and I personally know beekeepers in my gfs family.

This gift is of the highest quality. On the bottom left, you can find the name of the person who filled the jar. Based on its appearance, it is real, unpasteurised honey.

Generally, honey does not require an expiration date. It is often added to store-bought varieties because they may be mixed with water, sugar, or other additives, which can affect shelf life — or simply due to bureaucratic regulations.

There are multiple articles online talking about this young guy and his dedication to ecological farming so i think its legit af

Hi, I’m from a beekeeper family, i sometimes give honey to friends without an expiry date written on it, just because too lazy. But honey does not really expire, so you don’t have to worry. From the looks of it, seem so be a great honey!
    Enjoy!

  4. I don’t know what kind of honey you have in your country, but this is proper honey. Most likely made by a single guy, without any additives.

Slovenes pride ourselves on our honey production. Our forefathers have been doing this for a long time and it’s a part of our culture. [Anton Janša](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_Jan%C5%A1a) was such an expert, that empress Maria Theresia employed him as the court’s official teacher of apiculture in her court.

If you like honey, you’re going to love this bad boy!

When you don’t bother to make a new email for buisness cuz you don’t think it will take off. What a madlad

  6. If you’ve never had real honey before it will taste a little stronger than what you are used to. But also better.

A lot of commercialy sold honey is cut with other, cheaper syrups.

  7. there is no reason for being concerned its common thing when you get honey from the source there might be some data missing on label, I for example don’t even put labels on when im giving/gifting it to family or friends. “mešani” most likely doesnt mean “mixed”, it just means he wasnt able to determine exact type of honey or there was multiple types of honey sources at the time

It’s home made honey, the best kind. It says “mixed” which means it tastes like whatever the bees ate around the bee hive. Flowers/linden tree probably
