I’m convinced Iran’s plan is just to sow chaos. All it takes is another missile to hit a Dubai hotel or turkey or Bahrain and this not only puts pressure on us friendly regimes, but it risks the us falling into an endless war of stupidity like Putin. They know this.
I honestly don’t see how Trump and Republicans squirm out of this as long as Iran refuses a ceasefire.

Iran is trying to drag everyone and their mother into this war. It’s their strategy. This is existential for them. There is nothing left to negotiate.

Would not surprise me if Iran is trying to drag Turkey into this war because of the impeding ground operation of the Kurds.

I’m going to venture that they were aiming for Cyprus or something. Turkey is the closest thing Iran has to an ally right now (not even, but they’re otherwise near-totally friendless.) I can see the benefit to Iran in hitting UAE air travel or Saudi oil refineries. I see no benefit to them whatsoever in antagonizing Turkey.

This is just becoming more and more clear Iran is wildly lashing out to anyone it can touch, this is pretty clear in its death throes
