Speaking at a press conference in Minsk on March 4th, Iran’s Ambassador to Belarus Alireza Sanei thanked President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko for his wise position regarding the situation in the Middle East, and also the Belarusian people for their compassion and support

Earlier today, President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Alireza Sanei and stated that Israel’s attack on Iran, supported by the United States, is unacceptable to Belarus.

“I would like to thank the President of the Republic of Belarus for his wise position, as well as the friendly people of Belarus for the compassion and support we have received over the recent days,” Alireza Sanei said.

The diplomat also stated that Iran is ready to provide all possible assistance in facilitating the departure of Belarusian citizens, if necessary. He noted that the Iranian Foreign Ministry has offices in all cities and regions, especially border areas.

“At the moment, the embassies of all countries have full access to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, and if there is a need to evacuate their citizens from our country, they will help arrange this through border crossings. We have also taken into consideration the fact that some foreign citizens’ visas may have expired, so they will be extended without any problem. I am in direct contact with the Ambassador of Belarus to Tehran. We will certainly provide any assistance needed,” Alireza Sanei assured.
