They are absolutely horrible to have. We have them on the Gold Coast and they get thrown in the canals, or block the footpaths. Olympic Park and the surrounds are beautiful places. Hopefully they don’t allow them to ruin it. If people want to ride an electric legal bike or scooter they should buy their own. Who on earth wants to plunge their head into a helmet other people have worn, thats feral.

  2. >I’d love them to open up around Olympic park/Wentworth point

Why would you love a footpath enshittification project?

    Manly now a seaside town?

really need to shut down the electric bike hire industry here. In Canberra the scooters seem to work well cause everything is close, footpaths are wide and it’s flat. Sydney is not built for them.

Lime bikes are fucking cancer, the amount that are just dumped in a “parking zone” only to block pathways – it’s a fucking pain to navigate a double pram with twins already.

They look like dogshit. Just wait until they’re covered in shitty tags too.

The same people that advocate for lime bikes are usually the ones who ride them without helmets on pathways – at least ride on the fucking road.
