He is right though, but not in the way he hopes. The US may defeat Iran, but when the US loose their military top dog position to China this century and China starts occupying islands in the pacific no one will take their whining about souvereignty and rules based order seriously.

Here’s exactly what’s going to happen. The American Dems will take back the US government just in time for the retaliatory terrorism that will last for a long time. The Rs will make it seem like the Ds fault, and the cycle will continue ad infinitum.
