Uae is not incredibly dangerous right now and the security situation was already noted by the finnish government in june in their travel advisory.

**It is not subsidized by the government.** They have asked a for a charter flight to pick up passangers from a conflict area and the cost of the flight is divided by the plains capacity.
Reason for the cost is that the plane needs to first fly to Oman from Europe and then to Finland. That doubles the price.
Now the foreign ministry has decided that it can legally subsidize the flight to Oman which has dropped the price to 1300 EUR per person. That is reasonable for a 7 hour flight.
