      There are 37 days left until the elections. Find a temporary solution.

      In the meantime, please treat Orbán as what he is. A troll you shouldn’t bother answering. Zelensky playing word karate with the swine does exactly the opposite of what he’s hoping for. It helps him in his efforts to stay in power.

      Proportionally adjust the value based on what Hungary’s ‘contribution’ to the pot would have been and then exclude their vote and release the vast majority of the €90B

      It’s enough. The “opposition” is also anti-Ukrainian. Time for a forced Hunxit. For the time being with Article 7 (taking away voting and membership rights), and after adapting the EU charters by introducing an expulsion clause, officially kick them out, close all borders and extradite Hungarians from Europe. We don’t want wannabe Russians.

      The reality is, they have a veto. There is no solution.

      The eu system is broken. We should just go around it and give the money as individual states.

      They are one of the largest net benefactors of EU funding. Seems pretty straightforward, start to reduce that funding until the pain brings them back in line.

      You can just ignore the veto and go ahead btw, it’s literally all made up rules. It’s not gravity, where you can’t make objects fall upwards instead of downwards.

      European countries can collectively just go ahead and ignore the veto. Hungary resorts to the Court? Ignore it or make sure the judges stall long enough.

      Desperate times call for desperate measures.

      Why can’t western countries like France, Germany, etc. just send the aid directly? No EU vote needed, just put the money pot together and send it to Ukraine.

      if Europe wanted to give the money, they would have shoved Hungary and Slovakia, but they don’t, so they hide behind excuses

      It’s not that they didn’t know, it’s they didn’t want to. It doesn’t matter anymore why because there is a facist shithead blocking anything as long as he doesn’t get EU-money and they still give it to him. They can all join him in prison for letting it happen and whine about it.

      The solution is obvious, do it anyway and tell them to fuck off. What are they going to do, leave the EU and lose all the money they’ve been handed from it?

      The rules only matter if everyone abides by them, if one country stops abiding by them then there isn’t any particular reason every other country in the EU can’t similarly agree to stop abiding by rules that benefit that one country to the detriment of everyone else’s intentions.

      I just discovered the best way to get downvotes on Reddit, but guys, Putin isn’t that bad. If you have a few vodkas with him, I’m sure he has a dry sense of humor. And at least the Russians came to help in the Spanish Civil War, and not to test new weapons on the Spanish population or leave us stranded despite being allies.

      for anything to pass it need atleast 70% of all menbers vote

      Hungary needs to go. Kick them out and let them sort their problems out. They can come back in 10 years when they learned their lesson
