Did anyone take part in this morning's event? Did you see the pink storm troopers or one of the many other costumes? Did you make it before all the ice blocks melted? Did you get into the VIP area?

Warm and damp but hopefully not too hot.

Well done to all the walkers and runners! Did this years ago, was a lovely atmosphere.

  2. Amazing how many people get behind the cause, I’ve never quite seen anything like it. I was diagnosed with BC in early 2024 just after moving to Brisbane, and got my treatment at the Mater. I had no idea that they treat 1 in 4 QLD women diagnosed with breast cancer.

This was my first year doing the run, and what an awesome experience! Got absolutely drenched but had a blast, knocked 2m 30s off my PB, and I raised $3000. Can’t wait to do it all again next year.

It’s always a good morning and for a great cause. 💖 It rained but didn’t put a dampener on people spirits! 🤗

  4. Too bad they are anti-choice and refuse to perform abortions. Will never support them again.

It was awesome. Really humid and sort of gloomy morning then all the colour. And that icy pole at the end was the best!

For anyone starting at the front of the runners you need to seed yourself. Having a toddler up front in the middle was a safety risk.
